There’s no denying about it but I prefer tumble-dried laundry. I can’t stand when towels are stiff an not fluffy and I don’t like the sight of drying laundry inside the house. But when it’s sunny outside I do prefer to dry my duvet covers, pillow shams and tea towels outside. A. because it smells so lovely and B. because everything is easier to iron. That brings me back to my previous post; if you want neat piles you will have to iron.
So yesterday was one of those first April days that the weather was just perfect for a good wash and dry. I planted my new Brabantia rotary dryer in the garden (I still need to decide if it’s going to stay there, so it’s not yet fixed with concrete) and for the first time in my new garden I saw my laundry happily drying and rotating in the sun.
Did you know that Brabantia, together with WeForest, will plant a tree for every rotary dryer or drying rack you buy? So not only did I planted a rotary dryer, I’ve also planted a tree.
